Refreshed Google Search Screen

Google just keeps getting better! Now there's a comprehensive new refreshment for the search screen which has taken effect worldwide.

Overall, the new design has a friendlier feel to it and provides a more intuitive navigation to the search options displayed on the left-side panel.

Check out the short Google video on the 2010 Spring design update and take a peek at the left-side panel as you do your next Google search .

The actual Google logo has also been slightly redesigned, which is now brighter, cheekier and less formal. The structure of the search result screen hasn't been changed and the main features work exactly the same.

Some of the added features in the left-side panel include search tools for selecting e-commerce sites or websites with images.

The changes are not substantial but reflect Google's effort to make browsing and searching a more personal experience. From a business point of view, the changes make communication with customers even more sophisticated and complex, as Google continues to offer more and more channels for consumers to search for information related to businesses and their products and services.
